Percussionist. Graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music, taught by Professor Zhao Ji, a famous percussion performer and educator in China. Later, he studied at Mannheim Conservatory of Music in Germany and was taught by Dennis Kuhn, an international percussion master. He received master's degree and doctor's degree in percussion.

Zhang Jingli has worked for the Chinese Symphony Orchestra and the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra successively. She is currently an associate professor of the Central Conservatory of Music, the Chief Executive of the Jiaoli Percussion Orchestra, the Master Director of the Chinese Conservatory of Music, the Music Director of the China International Percussion Competition and the Judge of the Korea International Percussion Competition.
